This tour will present you with 8 days of unforgettable sightseeing. We will cover historical, cultural and traditional Portugal.

Starting in the capital, Lisbon, with its seven hills and the magic of its day-light, we will also cover the cosmopolitan surrounding areas of Cascais and Estoril and the romantic world of Sintra.

We’ll spend a day within medieval walls, in Evora, the capital of Alentejo region. Here we’ll learn about the Roman and Moorish influences in the landscape, architecture and culture of this UNESCO official site.

After Alentejo, we head north to visit to major sites: Fatima sanctuary and Coimbra the city of culture and its world heritage site The University of Coimbra.

Porto will be our next destination: the city of the Douro River, the Port wine, one the most beautiful bookshops in the world: Lello’s Bookstore, and the glamorous Ribeira water front. We set aside a day to enjoy the Douro Valley, a unique landscape built over thousands of years by generations of winemakers, a place where Port wine rules.

The Minho region is introduced through the historic center of Guimaraes, the “cradle” of Portuguese Nation, and Braga, with the oldest operating water powered cable car in the world.

Heading back south we’ll visit some amazing cities and villages like Aveiro, the Portuguese Venice, and Obidos the walled-in medieval town.

Let us drive you in the comfort of a Mercedes-Benz vehicle, with AC and WiFi, and be escorted by one of our certified professional driver-guides.

A private tour with an accredited professional driver-guide, exclusively at your disposal, who will accompany you on visits to monuments and other places of interest whenever possible, (in certain areas of the city, car parking is not available or not allowed in which case the driver-guide will drop you off and schedule a time with you for pick-up, back at the same place of drop-off).

The start and ending of the tour will always be at a place designated by you, in accordance to the agreement previously established between you and Premiere Tours .
